Dr Michael Shaw MBBS, FRCA, FANZCA

Dr Michael Shaw joined AGB in 2002. He is a Specialist Anaesthetist, who did most of his training in London and Edinburgh and holds a UK Fellowship. On his return to Australia, Michael gained a Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists before moving to Ballarat. He has a special interest in Obstetric Anaesthesia and has responsibility for running the Obstetric Anaesthetic services at St John of God Hospital and Ballarat Health Services.  Also, Michael is involved in providing educational material to women preparing for childbirth, as well as teaching and training medical students, doctors, nurses and midwives.
