Comprehensive Specialist Care
As a fully established Specialist Practice, AGB offer new partners a busy and varied professional schedule from commencement. You will not be challenged to establish your own contacts and securing your own theatre lists.
All current partners are Fellows of ANZCA and support each surgical speciality, providing ongoing skills development, professional breadth and variety. We welcome candidates with specific areas of interest and given the flexibility we provide with schedules and theatre lists, can accommodate both narrow and broad areas of interest.
In addition to supporting regular theatre lists in obstetrics/gynaecology, orthopaedics, general surgery and dental disciplines, as a major provider of services in a busy regional city, we also support several sub specialities. These include ENT and head and neck surgery, thoracic, vascular, urology, ophthalmology and plastics.
Administration, Clinical Support and Patient Fees
Each AGB partner is supported by a highly skilled administration team. This team are accountable for all patient bookings, receiving informed financial consent, billing processes and accounts receivable.
The AGB practice supports the engagement of a Div 1 Registered Nurse. This enables AGB to greatly differentiate our service. Utilising this valuable clinical asset we conduct regular and extensive clinical audits, weekly pre-op clinics and monthly obstetrics educational sessions. Our nurse is able to triage patient enquiries and is the first point of contact for patient follow-up.
We offer our patients a Known Gap fee – for each booked procedure. This provides both certainty to the patients, (as to their out of pocket expense), and transparency of our billing practices.
